i was wondering what the new halo game was like? i see rogue and havoc have it, im pesonaly holding off from buying it until ive had a chance to play op 2 a bit, as im more interested in the mutiplayer in that game and the single player in halo. plus its an excuse to post on the site as nobody does much

Simply put the best halo todate IMO

Now iv never completed a halo tho iv come damn near to both halo 2 and 3 however i get bored .
What sets halo odst apart is the single player structure has alot in coming with call of duty/gears , everything is laid out befor you , like objectives , clear instructions, easy Watpoints and you actually feel more imerssed in the halo world cos now your on earth and fighting in a squad , (nolonger the super engineerd master chief) the charectors you play are all human and its that human aspect thats more apparent in this halo , what with the quality voice acting of the guy who was the captain in the excellent yet underrated FIREFLY oh thats it Nathan Fillion , captain renalds lol new it would come to me once i googled it .

The singleplayer is not long in alittle over 5 hours but each chapter/level i found to be very good , you can easly see call of dutys influance on this game ,which i loved .

Multiplayer on odst is basicly firefight which plays the same way hoard does .
all of this is on the first disk .

the 2nd disk is the halo 3 multiplayer componant which and i might be wronge is all the halo 3 maps +map packs plus 3 exclusive maps that are remade classics from halo 2 .


you can pick this game up for around 30 quid and im not sure id say that be worth the single player alone deppends how much you like halo , but if you have not got halo 3 or the map packs then as a complete package its defo worth 30 quid .
Another way to look at it is if you buy all the map packs subtrack that cost from the 30 quid and its quite clearly good value for money .

id say get it m8 cos i want someone to play multiplayer or co-op with

im deff going to get it, but im going to pick up op 2 hopefully friday so ill play that first. As you know if got halo first i would more than likely play that until ive completed it. this way at least ill give op 2 a fair run out first.

thanks for the text yesterday rogue telling me that op 2 has been put back to 09/10. i must say im a little confussed over the date? if it was ready on its luanch date of today, why not put it out, i know halo is out but i think that most people who will buy op 2 wont be to bothered about halo odst. with op flashpoint being more of a niche tacticle game. so why push it back, closer to modern warfare release, which has every other pulisher running scared.
Anyway i picked halo odst up today and from what ive played on it im loving it. It seems a bit more tacticle than the other 3 halo games ive'd played and beaten. and im loving the general atmosphere of the game so far.
